Vietnamese Golden Buds - This smooth, large leafed variety consists of the top two leaves and stem. These are tightly rolled together into beautiful large nuggets of fragrant tea. Processed with care, this tea is a subtle relative of our Formosa oolongs. Produced in a similar fashion to other oolongs, it is repeatedly rolled to create this tea’s impressive appearance. This tea is grown in the southern area of Vietnam in Bao Loc. This Vietnamese oolong is complex and balanced. Water at 175 to 185 degrees for two to four minutes is fine for this hearty green oolong. Can be infused three or four times with good flavor.
