5 Year Aged Oolong 1999
Generation Tea Loose Leaf Oolong Tea
This tea is similar in taste to a dark Formosa
Tieguanyin with a deeper roast. This tea
is quite smooth and full tasting with a
mellow aftertaste. The leaves are dark colored
as is the resulting brew. Because the leaves
are high grade, this tea can be steeped
four or five times, each producing a signature
cup. This is a must for the person looking

Fenghuang Dancong (Dragon Phoenix)
Generation Tea Loose Leaf Oolong Tea
Fenghuang Dancong - This dark oolong has
a long history as a tribute tea. A tribute
tea was traditionally the highest grade
of tea that was given to the emperor or
high officials. Today in America we may
be familiar with the “tea tax”.
This tea was actually the tax that locals
paid as tribute. This oolong is made up
of dark, extremely fragrant strips. It comes
from the Guangdong Province of China, where
it is drunk in small, concentrated (1 oz)
cups, which are almost intoxicating. Brewed
in this way the tea steeps for less than
one minute using lightly boiling water.
Can be used 2 or three times and still preserve
the rich dark aromas.

Royal Fenghuang Dancong (Dragon
Phoenix)
Generation Tea Loose Leaf Oolong Tea
This is a very exclusive tea that can be
brewed three times with good taste. You
can even go for a fourth brew if you brew
gongfu style. This tea was born and grown
to be brewed in this fashion, using less
than 5 oz. of water with 3-4 grams of leaves.
The dark brown, almost black leaves turn
a deep green. This exhibits the 'craftmanship'
that goes into the production of this tea.
It also has an amazing fragrance when you
smell the brewed tea. An essential addition
to your teas.

Wild 'Purple' Tea
Generation Tea Loose Leaf Oolong Tea
This tea hails from Zhangzhou, Fujian China.
There are no roads and the farmers hike
deep into the forest to harvest these leaves
from real tea trees that can grow to 21
feet. The tea is processed and rolled similar
to an oolong, but the flavor is much more
earthy and rustic. I imagine this is what
the primordial tea must have tasted like.
The leaves infuse quickly and stand up to
4 steepings with dynamic flavor. Drinkers
of this tea say it helps constipation, lowers
heat in the body, helps women's regularity
and doesn't keep one up at night. It may
be possible that this is a low caffeine
tea because of it's unique growing conditions.
A very unique tea.
