1970's
Tong Xing Hao Beeng Cha
Generation Tea 380g Pu-erh Tea Cake
This tea's pinyin is Tong xing hao hou qi
yuan cha 1970's which tells that it is a
special process aged pu-erh compressed tea
from 1970's. It was made in the Yi wu tong
xing cha zhang. Yi wu is the town of production.
Since the factory was established in 1733
it was called the Tong shun xiang hao. The
family is said to have gone to Thailand
at the time of the Cultural Revolution to
continue to preserve the secret process
of the old factory. The leaf is a grade
3 large leaf variety which is very high
for beeng cha's. It is considered brown
and raw (not cooked or black). It can be
infused many times and has a sublime smooth
taste that leaves a pleasant woody aftertaste.
Only time and expert production can produce
a tea of this class. In addition, the rice
paper wrapping is hand embossed in the chop
fashion. Note that the lettering is very
faded on all these cakes, but the tea is
clean. Each cake weighs about 380g. This
tea is truly intoxicating and very special.

Generation Tea 350g Pu-erh Tea Cake
This is considered a black or cooked Pu-erh.

This is a good tasting grade of a larger
leafed Pu-erh tea. The cake is composed

it should be allowed to 'breath' and not
be kept air-tight. This will help the aging

Green Young Pu-erh Beeng Cha
Generation Tea 350g Pu-erh Tea Cake
This Spring picked cake is the green material
that ages with such grace. It is perfectly
fine to drink as it is, and over the years,
this will become a smooth traditionally
aged Pu-erh that looks more red than green.
Classic size of 357 grams is what Chitsu-Pingcha
is named after. Chitsu means seven and these
cakes were traditionally sold in bundles
of seven, and that is the way we receive
them even today. The tea is harvested from
wild trees and is pesticide-free. Buy one
to drink and save the other. Makes a great
gift. Brew as a green tea with water about
160 deg. f so you don't scorch the leaves.
As it ages you can use hotter water without
worrying about bittering the leaves. Use
two or three times with good flavor. Green,
raw leaves.

Menghai Zun Cha Brick
Generation Tea 250g Pu-erh Tea Cake
This tea was manufactured in the Menghai
factory in Yunnan. It has been carefully
aged, preserving its proper, smooth taste.
This tea can be steeped 5-7 times with nice
flavor. It is best to brew this type of
Pu-erh kungfu style, as the taste does infuse
rather quickly. Let steep for 1 1/2 minutes
the first time, and about 30 seconds to
one minute each time after. Let the later
steepings sit a little longer. We hope to
offer more special aged Pu-erh's, and hope
you will start building your collection
of special and rare teas. Store in a container
that can breathe, and this tea will get
better over time. This is classified as
a cooked or processed Pu-erh because the
leaves are fermented to their deep red color
and then compressed. The brick mellows with
age, and this is the special sweet taste
that an old tea presents. 7592-94 Brown,
ripe(cooked) leaves

Kilo Golden Melon Tuocha
Generation Tea 11lb Pu-erh Tea Cake
This giant Bird's Nest or Tuocha weighs
5 kilos (11 lbs) and is called a Golden
Melon due to its size. It is great for drinking
(just break a little off each time) or display.
It is 14 inches wide and 9 inches high.
In the house or a teashop this will surely
turn heads. The tea is good and quite medicinal.
It brews a pale red cup typical of high
quality Pu-erh. The larger Melons tend to
grow a lot of yeast over time which aids
digestion and metabolism. We haven't found
a cup big enough for the whole thing yet.
Brews more than 2000 servings! Age it yourself
to yield even better tea as the years pass.
Many people in China collect Pu-erh, and
real aged tea can become quite sought after
and expensive.

kilo Golden Melon Tuocha
Generation Tea 17.5lb Pu-erh Tea Cake
WOW! This is a big one. Compressed bird's
nest shape looks like a whole family of
birds could live here. Impressive doesn't
quite capture the sheer size of this Golden
Melon. As we have said, this tea will age
and become more valuable with time. Some
old Pu-erh teas sell for more than $1000
a pound. It is hard to verify the age that
many teas claim to be. If you own it yourself
you know the real age. Just a small amount
of this potent tea will yield a full bodied
and memorable cup. Weighs 17.5 lbs and exhibits
good leaf size and has a distinct aroma.

the tea can continue to age properly. Great
for any Pu-erh lover, collector or store
display. Buy two, one to use and one to
